WHAT WAS THE CREATIVE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR WEDDING?
We wanted something romantic and light with a lot of greenery.

WHAT WAS YOUR COLOR PALETTE?
Soft pink, navy blue, and greenery.

HOW DID YOU PERSONALIZE YOUR WEDDING AND MAKE IT ABOUT THE TWO OF YOU?
We both love to dance, so music was very important. We also had our favorite drinks (his: brandy old-fashioned sweet; hers: Moscow mule) for cocktail hour. A popcorn bar—
we’re both obsessed—and late-night pizza.

WHAT WAS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR WEDDING DATE AND/OR LOCATION?
The wedding date was the same day Neil asked me to be his girlfriend when we were 13 years old. Our 12th anniversary.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
I would've greeted every table during dinner.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT IN YOUR CEREMONY AND WEDDING RECEPTION?
Ceremony: seeing each other for the first time. Reception: our first dance, then dancing all night!

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WERE GLAD YOU INSISTED ON?
Not doing a first look but instead standing back to back reading the letters we wrote each other before the ceremony.

IF YOU COULD TELL COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Enjoy the day and take every picture; it goes so fast!

WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING OBSTACLE YOU OVERCAME WHEN PLANNING YOUR WEDDING?
Finances. I was in my first year as a school counselor, and Neil was in physical therapy school, so money was tight.

WHAT DID YOU OBSESS OVER THAT YOU REALIZED IN THE END DIDN’T MATTER?
Making everyone else happy. Everyone so loved the day and would have loved it any way we had it because they love us and support us.
