What was the overall creative inspiration for your wedding?
Romantic, timeless, warm, cozy, love-filled, us.
What was your color palette?
Navy blue, light pink, natural elements (wood, greenery, etc.)
What was the significance of your wedding date and/or location?
We love winter! The snow is romantic and the cold weather brings people closer together for warmth. We wanted a wedding at a not-so-popular time of year so we can have something to look forward to when winters get long—an anniversary celebration!
What was your favorite moment in your ceremony and reception?
We were most touched by our parents’ toasts. They were so emotional, thoughtful, and meaningful to us that we will never forget that part of our wedding.
Would you change anything if you could do it over again? If so, what?
Never—the day was perfect. Even the hiccups throughout the day were perfect. We loved every second of our wedding day.
What advice do you have for other couples planning their weddings?
Get a wedding planner. With the help of Summer, we were able to create a day and design better than we could have ever imagined with little to no stress. Best decision we made.
